Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow, accessible practice that combines longer-held postures with breath, stillness, self-inquiry, and nervous system downshifting.

Nearly a year after being struck by an SUV, I began experiencing persistent neuromuscular pain while living in Tulum, Mexico. I attended several yin yoga classes and noticed that the combination of stillness, breath, and sustained postures helped me feel calmer and more supported in my body. As I became more curious and invested in my healing, I traveled to Rishikesh, India to deepen my study and eventually share the practice with others.

Sound Healing

Sound healing uses instruments and vibration to create an immersive sensory experience that can support relaxation, breath, awareness, and a shift toward a calmer state. For me, sound became another way to access stillness and nervous system downshifting.

A few weeks before traveling to India, I experienced a severe flare of autonomic symptoms, followed by the return of post-concussion symptoms including migraines, light and sound sensitivity, and vocal strain. After completing my yin yoga training, I chose to study sound healing because I had already experienced how deeply sound could affect my state. The training became another tool for helping me feel calmer, more grounded, and less caught in fight-or-flight.
